Travellers from South on M1

Leave the M1 at Junction 25 (A52 north for Derby, dual carriageway).

Keep going until you come to a large island (pentagon shaped), then go straight across and follow the A6 Matlock signs. Short, one-way system, through pedestrian crossing (lights). At next traffic lights take the green left turn filter onto Kedleston Road and continue straight on, passing the University (on the right).

 *Travel approximately 1 mile then take the left turn for Hulland and Kedleston. Keep following this road past Kedleston Hall (on the left), through Weston Underwood village and follow the signs for Hulland Ward. On entering the village of Hulland Ward, The Black Horse Inn is on the right between the junction of the A517 and Derby Road.  Just before this junction you will see a sign for "High Meadow Accommodation" 

Travellers from South using A38

Heading North, follow the A38 into the outskirts of Derby onto the ring road, you will pass a McDonalds and a Garage on your left, go straight across the island and stay in the left hand lane for approximately 200 yards, then take the slip road keeping to the left up and onto Kedleston Road and past the University, from the University follow the directions as above.*

Travellers from North / North East

Follow M1 south to A38 junction.  Follow A38 south approx 3-5 miles and leave this at junction for Ripley. round the island and follow  to the A6 at Ambergate.  Turn left on to A6 for Belper.  Entering Belper, turn right by large red brick mill , for Ashbourne A517. Follow A517 through to Hulland Ward.  On entering Hulland Ward by Black Horse pub, turn left round the sharp hair pin bend at end of car park then immediately right into High Meadow  Accommodation.  

Travellers from North / NorthWest

Travel down M6 or A50 to Ashbourne, then pick up A517 for Belper.

Travel approximately 4 miles to Hulland Ward.  (do NOT turn off forHulland village).  Carry ont hrough Hulland Ward village to Black Horse pub facing you when approaching fork.  Take right turn and then immediately right into High Meadow Accommodation.

ALL GUESTS PLEASE NOTE.  ON ENTERING HIGH MEADOW ACCOMMODATION DO NOT GO DOWN CHARLES WALKER CLOSE BUT TURN SHARP RIGHT AND FOLLOW THROUGH THE GATE POSTS DOWN THE DRIVE INTO HIGH MEADOW.
